It’s a Wedding! Kids should have fun too!

There’s no denying that the little ones are a bundle of joy. And that’s what weddings are all about right? Happiness and Joyful celebrations.
Yet, the fact remains that kids are usually not made to feel like a part of the wedding and they eventually get restless and bored as they do
not have much to do. Vivaah Weddings brings to you interesting ideas to keep the kids occupied with fun activities while the parents can celebrate stress free.

Kids at wedding

1. Flower Girls and Boys

It could be their favourite Uncle or Aunt’s wedding – and they want to do their part. Kids are overwhelmed and excited
right from the preparations of the wedding and you’d see it in their eyes that they want to contribute to it in a little or big way.
The most lovely thing to do would be assign them the roles of escorting the Bride down the aisle with baskets of flower petals
that they can shower along the way. Little Flower Girls and Boys most definitely look pretty on images and videos.
More importantly, it makes the kids feel an important part of the ceremony.

Kids Garba

2. Kids Garba

There’s nothing more prettier than the sight of the little ones dressed up in traditional outfits trying to fit into the themed
evening of a wedding celebration. And we have to admit, we’ve even seen them comparing and complimenting each other’s outfits.
Icing on the cake would be if they engaged in a traditional folk dance which could be pre-choreographed or taught on
the spot with dance floor tutorials. We’re watching your wedding for this one!

3. Kids Art & Crafts

This could be an ideal station or corner that keeps the kids engaged. From Rangoli designing to Bracelet Making sessions,
see their creativity come alive and contribute to the beautiful images of your wedding. Flipping through the wedding album,
you’ll notice the lovely works the little ones put together to make your wedding look even more prettier.

4. Kids Mehendi Corner

The quirky little fun designs on their hands and feet are surprising and amusing. Let them have their own little Mehendi / Henna
corner so they can talk about and show off their fun little ideas on their palms all through the wedding. We’ve seen them get innovative
and cute as they get their favourite cartoon characters or animals painted with Henna.

5. Kids Performance

Let them have their moment of glory and fame! The guests at the wedding most definitely would get a change to shake a
leg or even bust out some moves during their stage performances or the free style DJ sessions. It’s time the kids
took the centre-stage. Allot a slot for all the kids to come perform on their favourite tracks to a room full of audience. The applause at
the end of it certainly goes a long way to boost their morale, encourage them and make them feel special and a part of the wedding.

6. Kids Carnival

Set up a Kids Carnival at your wedding supervised by a professional. Let the little ones indulge in Carnival games, Cotton Candy,
Popcorn and get their face painted. That would be their definition of a fun day out while everyone else is involved in the
wedding celebrations. You won’t even realize how hours pass by and when you’re back to get them, they’ll still be asking for more.
