Katha and Kartik are truly a match made in the heaven! Their spectacular pre- wedding celebrations saw the likes of the Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan perform his finest hits for awe inspired guests while the beautiful Emirates Palace was dressed up in lights!

The Welcome Brunch
Our lovely couple started their celebrations on a high note with an understated, laidback welcome brunch for all their guests. It was to be held in the gorgeous outdoor gazebo area of the Emirates Palace West wing but due to sudden rains, had to be moved indoor. This did not set back the tone or mood of the celebrations though! Katha and Kartik chose a very contemporary theme and decided to ‘Go Green with geometric shapes in pastel tones.
Youngsters Party
The laidback brunch was followed by the suave youngsters party later that evening and it was chic glam at its best! Fittingly for our couple, they chose an ethereal theme for this fun celebration! The Grand Ballroom of the Emirates Palace was glammed up in fairy lights, mirrors, butterflies and a signature piece of the Katha and Kartik celebration -A mirrored revolving stage! The lights bouncing off the mirrored center stage lit up the entire room to create magic!
Pool Party
After a spectacular evening, the second day started with a lazy brunch. The theme for this event was ‘Poolside Chic’. Entertainment was abundant here, with a Cuban dancer, bubble play area for the kids, saxophonists and much more. This was a time for recovery after a splendid night and to rest up for the big night ahead.
The Engagement Musical Extravaganza
The highlight of the celebrations! Katha and Kartik decided to exchange rings on the last night of their pre-wedding celebrations and it was a moment to behold. Cold pyros went off as the couple exchanged rings and it truly was a moment of fireworks but it wasn’t the end of the evening, we had just begun!
Katha and Kartik chose a ‘Royal Elegance’ theme for tonight. The lavish Emirates Palace was dressed up to look even more opulent with lighting and rich tones of purple and gold, the candles, flowers and custom chairs certainly added to the overall feel of luxuriousness. That was impressive but the highlight was the performance of Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan! The Ustad performed outdoors in the Garden Arena of the Emirates Palace in front of a 9X6 foot custom built stage with LED panels, the performance and celebrations went on till the early hours of the morning. It was the most splendid close to a most memorable union.
