that was held in April at Los Cabos, Mexico.
Top Wedding Planners and Wedding Destinations from over 80 countries convened at the beautiful city of Los Cabos – Mexico
to engage in brainstorming sessions, focus groups, expert panels and a whole lot of networking.
One of the biggest platform for wedding industry professionals, this forum enhances and raises the bar for wedding celebrations worldwide.
Through exchange of ideas and forming collaborations, the possibilities across the globe are endless as wedding planners
explore new territories and boundaries to host their next big magnum opus. In its 5th edition, the DWP Congress
was hosted in partnership with the Los Cabos Tourism Board and the Mexico Tourism Board from the
10th – 12th April 2018 which saw an attendance higher than any versions in the past years –
a testament that the wedding industry is constantly enriching experiences worldwide.
The meetings and events were held across multiple venues throughout the city with a good mix of convention halls, private estates,
heritage sites and luxury resorts. Los Cabos as a destination showcased all the possibilities one can explore at this destination has to
offer to create and host some of the best wedding celebrations in this beautiful land.
After four years of highly successful congress sessions in Athens, Mauritius, Florence and Phuket, the
Destination Wedding Planners (DWP) Congress explored the fabulous Americas with their
5th Annual congress hosted in Los Cabos – Mexico.
We now look forward to the 6th DWP Congress and eagerly wait for the revelation of the next host city.
