After 11 successful editions of the WOW Awards – Asia’s largest business and recognition platform for the Experiential Marketing, MICE, LIVE Entertainment and Wedding industry, came to the Middle East this year with its debut edition. With Dubai Tourism as the Destination Partner and ILEA Middle East Chapter’s Supporting Association, the grand celebratory night was hosted on September 25th, 2019 at the Palazzo Versace Dubai. WOW Awards Middle East’s debut edition brought together and awarded the Experiential industry of the region in a celebration like never before!
Over 600 delegates attended the debut edition of WOW Awards Middle East’s debut edition. Event professionals from across the globe graced the ceremony to present the trophies to the winners from four groups – Experiential Marketing, Experiential Celebrations, Experiential Management, and Experiential Venues Categories.
Vivaah Weddings, being a renowned leading Wedding Planning & Management agency with multiple awards for Destination Indian Weddings bagged Experiential Celebrations – Best Wedding Awards at the first WOW Awards Middle East 2019. We are extremely honored to be receiving such an important award, earnestly grateful for the recognition we have received for our work.
As it is customary and as part of the ceremony, beyond the competitive awards, the institution of WOW presented ‘special acknowledgments’ to select entities that have made an outstanding contribution to the Event industry of the region.
In keeping with this tradition and in partnership with ILEA, The WOW Visionary Special Honour was presented to the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), in acknowledgment of its achievements in building one of the World’s most successful event economies in Dubai.
A second Special Honour, titled WOW Milestone, was presented to the Coca Cola Arena, in acknowledgment of its role as a Landmark Development contributing tremendously to the event and entertainment industry of the region, and most specifically Dubai.
We sincerely thank everyone for helping us reach a stage where we can proudly hold up this award as a mark of my achievement. We look forward to many more such achievements and successful years ahead.
